So, it’s finally happened!
You might have noticed that for the past few weeks, there haven’t been many sketch Sundays. Sure, they’ve still happened, but there’s been more and more absences, or late postings. The answer is regretfully simple. I’ve burned through all the sketches that I had built up over the years. I’m still doing some doodling here and there, and I’m sure that I’ve got a couple sketches still around here and there to eventually post, but the time of just posting sketch after sketch after sketch has, sadly, come to an end.
So then, as the post says, what next! I’ll still be doing some sketch Sundays here and there whenever I have a couple things worth sharing. I’m still chewing on a little whirlwind tour of some of the places in Sol (and I’ve got one more sketch mostly done and ideas for a few more after that), but I’m not sure when they’ll be done. So rather than put a lot of pressure on myself to complete what is (honestly) a side project, I’m instead going to put this feature on a more relaxed tempo. I’m pondering what else to slot in on Sundays (as regular content IS a good idea after all), but I don’t have any good ideas yet. If one does come up, or if people actually have a suggestion or two, I’d love to take a look and see what I can do!
If you’ve been reading my sketch Sundays, thank you! It’s been a pleasure to build out parts of my universe that aren’t directly part of the story I’ve been writing. It’s nice to take a moment to look at the scenery instead of moving through it, and I hope you’ll stay as I continue to expand this little world of mine!
