One of the things I’ve built up over the years was a pretty big collection of sketches. While I’m the first to admit that I have the art skills of a physics student (spherical cows and all that), I have done a lot of… passable sketches to work out a lot of details in the deWulf universe. There’s been more than a few times that sketching out an idea made it a lot easier to write about. Sketches are also a lot easier to change compared to a 3d model, and of course sometimes inspiration just strikes when it does.
Some of them were concepts that later got used in writing. Others were used as rough drafts for what would eventually be various spaceships. A couple are just random doodles that might never get used. And a few are “inspired” by other works. With no guarantee that any of it’s going to be used.
Anyhow, the reason I’m mentioning this all is because I’m looking to start showing off a few of these over the coming weeks. Some of the posts are going to have a few paragraphs, while a few might just be a sentence or two, but I hope all of them will be interesting!
